I have more questions. How do I contact you? Who is eligible to participate in Car Hire Direct's affiliate program? Anyone who owns and operates a website may submit the application form. Affiliates must have a web site address and a valid email address in order to participate. How does Car Hire Direct's affiliate program work? The Car Hire Direct affiliation program is a partnership between our company and you. Once you become an affiliate, you can place links, banners or logos on your website that will be tracked for sales. You will receive an initial 5% commission - that can increase over time - on sales generated by your site. On an average £200 booking, this would amount to £10 per booking. Do I have to pay anything to become an affiliate? Nothing! Applying and participating in Car Hire Direct's affiliate program is absolutely free, there are no hidden costs and no minimum sales requirements. What if I operate more than one website? You can have multiple sites as an affiliate. You can have one affiliate account with Car Hire Direct that will include all of your site. You can track the progress of each of the websites separately and receive a check for the commissions of all of them. Just enter at the time of registration all of the sites you would like to register. If you wish to add more websites to your current affiliate account then let us know through the affiliate form or the contact us section and we will put it under the same affiliate ID. Does it matter where my website is based? Absolutely not. Please note that when you sign as an affiliate, you will choose an option to receive your payments in euros, dollars or pounds. Where the cheque is sent to is irrelevant, we welcome websites from anywhere in the world. How are bookings traced and credited to my site? All links from you site to Car Hire Direct must contain your site's unique reference code, so that every time a user comes to us via your links and makes a booking, we automatically credit your account. Please make sure that all links on your website include the reference code we will provide you. We regularly monitor our affiliate's websites to ensure the links are correctly coded and their sales will be accounted fairly. Does a customer need to buy immediately to get credited for the sale? No! You get credited for sales made within 6 months since the customer was tracked to our websites, since cookies are used to track the computer used and do not expire until 180 days pass. This means the customer will be recognized as your referral even if they don't hire a car from our website immediately. How do I check statistics and reports? Log in to your affiliates space and see the sales generated through your website. You will also be able to see your transaction history, amount payable and number of bookings. You are paid monthly, provided your commission amount is at least 50 pounds, 60 euros or 60 dollars, depending on the currency you chose to receive the payments in. If the commission amount does not reach these figures it will be automatically rolled over to the next monthly period. On day 10 of each month we will send you the cheque with the amount payable to your mail address. If you terminate your relationship with Car Hire Direct, we will send you a cheque with any commissions on sales made until your termination date. How does your members are look like? The affiliation space has a section with text links, banners and logos you can download. There are instructions in there for you to place them at your website. It is your decision how many links or banners you place and where, Car Hire Direct does not have a policy on this. Can I include specific Car Hire Direct offers on my website? Yes! From time to time we will place our best offers in the 'Links and Logos' section of the affiliates space. We encourage you to use them as promotion material in your website. Alternatively, you could visit our main website at http://www.carhiredirect.co.uk and check our offers yourself. I have problems to access the Affiliates Area. Please bear in mind that your username and password are case sensitive, so type them carefully. The account is suspended when there are too many unauthorized attempts to access it. If that is the case or the problems persist, please use our contact us section and we will fix it as soon as possible. What happens if I terminate my affiliate membership? You can terminate your affiliate membership at any time for any reason. We will immediately suspend your account and send you a cheque with any commissions on sales made until your termination date.
