Cape Town is a city that sits between the mountains and the sea and has a wonderful natural harbour. You should definitely visit Table Mountain which is a famous landmark in Cape Town 1086 metres above sea level and you can take the cable car to the top in just minutes.

Table Mountain is known as being at the top of the world with its wonderful views in all directions. You can even post your cards from the shop at the top of the mountain. Wooden walkways have been made so that you can walk around freely without damaging any wildlife and plants.

Trips can be pre-booked and it is advisable to take something warm to put on at the top, as it can be cold sometimes.

In Stellenbosch you can sample the wines that Cape Town is famous for.

From August to November this area has the largest populations of Whales and during this breeding season you will see them off the coast.
