One of the UK’s largest car hire firm’s, Sixt, has launched a new rental service from the Abu Dhabi International Airport.

The openingof the new hire car outlet allows passengers toaccess world-class car rental services with the added benefits of booking using Sixt’s website from anywhere in the world.

Sixt, which has over 4,000 outlets and affiliates around the globe, already has two existing outlets in the UAE; one in Dubai and another in Sharjah.

Manager for Sixt’s car rental services, Malcolm Cooper, said that growing demand from tourists, business travellers and new expatriates is providing new opportunities in Abu Dhabi.

He continued by saying that business has grown rapidly in the past decade and the launch of the first Abu Dhabi branch forms a part of Sixt’s core part of their plans.

Car hirers would also be able to choose from a large range of vehicles, from economical compact cars, right through to a range of luxury and full size vehicles, as well as special purpose vehicles including SUV’s and four-wheel drives.

Mr Cooper said that he was looking forward to providing travellers to Abu Dhabi with a hassle free and easy-to-use rental experience, and to offer affordable and reliable vehicles.
