Avis, one of the countries leading car rental companies, has announced that it will be opening a new branch at Westfield shopping centre. The centre is conveniently located in the West of London close to Shepherd’s Bush underground and train stations. The Westfield Avis branch will be the 15th the car hire firm now has within the capital.
One of the main reasons Avis has chosen to open in the 43-acre shopping centre is its location. As well as being so close to Shepherd’s Bush, White City and Wood Lane, Westfield is just minutes from the M40, M4 and M3.
This puts the new branch in the ideal position to serve customers wishing to quickly get out of the city. The countryside and coasts of the West of England are accessible from here without having to first negotiate the busy streets of the rest of London.
Head of Marketing at Avis UK, Nick Mountfield said: “We’re really excited about the opening of our new Avis branch at Westfield. Not only is it Europe’s largest shopping centre, its location is ideal for those looking to escape London for a weekend getaway via the M3 to the South Coast, the M4 to the West Country and Wales or the M40 for the Cotswolds and beyond.”
Avis currently has 112 branches spread throughout the UK and recently introduced its Home Delivery service. Customers in the London area can now have a car delivered to their front door at a time which suits them and then have it collected when they have finished with it.
