Visitors to Hawaii will have no problem getting around. Several of the state’s airports have just added the booths of two leading car hire companies; Alamo Rent A Car and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Both of these companies are owned and operated by the Taylor family of St. Louis. The companies are gracing local airports such as Honolulu Airport, Hilo Airport, Kauai Airport, Maui Airport and Kona Airport.

Paul Kopel is the Vice President and General Manager for both Alamo Rent A Car and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The new branches of both Enterprise and Alamo have already begun accepting car rental reservations. The companies have received a warm welcome from locals as they have hired an entire fleet of local workers.

In a recent ceremony, Mayor Carvalho was quick to praise the companies as he said: “We welcome the new Enterprise location on Kauai and congratulate them on expanding operations in this challenging economy. Providing jobs for residents, serving customers with aloha, and being an involved corporate citizen are all elements that will ensure Alamo and Enterprise are successful on Kauai in the years to come.”
