Car hire giant Hertz has joined up with airline and flight information site ExpertFlyer.com to offer members of its Hertz Business Account Programme greater diversity and value for money. Small businesses will now be able to get exclusive savings on ExpertFlyer.com membership as well as special deals on Hertz rentals and discounts offered by other affiliates of the scheme.

ExpertFlyer members will now also be able to take advantage of up to 20 per cent off the cost of a car rental through Hertz; one year’s complimentary membership of the Hertz #1 Gold Club and the opportunity to earn points towards free vehicle hire. ExpertFlyer members will also enjoy savings offered by other Hertz partners including Amex and FedEx.

President and co-founder of ExpertFlyer, Chris Lopinto, said the company’s Partner Programme would be significantly enhanced by Hertz. He added that members would now be able to make significant savings on a range of Hertz services and through a number of Hertz affiliates. He went on to say that he believed that as the relationship develops the buying power of the business traveller will increase.

Chief marketing officer at the Hertz Corporation, Michael Senackerib, said he was pleased to welcome ExpertFlyer as a new partner of the Hertz business Account Programme. He added that one of the primary goals at Hertz was to make sure customers are being offered the best solutions for managing their budgets, especially in such an uncertain economic climate.

Senackerib went on to say that Hertz was constantly trying to exceed its customer’s expectations.
