A leaked, internal document suggests that Transport for London is looking to new technologies as a way to reduce staff numbers and ticket offices at stations on the London Underground. Increased competition appears to be squeezing profits at both Belfast International and Belfast City with some wondering whether the region can maintain two airports. Car hire firm Dollar Thrifty has rejected the latest take over bid by Hertz Global. The company said the Hertz had failed to meet with necessary requirements by a pre determined deadline. Dollar said that Hertz had not managed to protect against possible objections by the antitrust bodies.
