The annual travel awards celebrate excellence across the travel industry and Sixt received its award alongside other travel giants such as Virgin America and Singapore Airlines.

Manager of rental services of Sixt U.A.E., Malcolm Cooper said that the award was an illustration of the trust that both individuals who rent a vehicle and the travel industry as a whole had in Sixt Rent A Car. He went on to say that it was that trust that pushed the company to provide the best possible service to all of its customers around the world.

Sixt operates in more that 90 countries and has over 3,500 offices worldwide. In the U.K. alone it has 150 outlets and customers can choose from a range of 26,000 vehicles.

Ian Lawrence who runs Sixt in the U.K. said that he was very pleased to have been given the top spot by Travel and Leisure Magazine. He echoed Cooper’s point that the award was particularly gratifying because it had been voted for by the consumer. He also went on to say that Sixt would continue to work hard at finding ways to accommodate its customer’s needs as well as strive to improve its service.
