London Gatwick Airport is the second busiest airport in Britain. It is situated South of London and is within easy reach of the South West/East coast of England as well as Central London.
There are many transatlantic flights from Gatwick everyday from either the South or North Terminals, which are joined by a monorail system.
Both terminals have exchange bureaus, cash machines, information desks, shops, duty free, restaurants, cafes and bars. Gatwick has many hotels close by that provide transportation to the terminals if you are staying overnight prior to an early flight.
There is a fast track service for business travellers and many business centres in and around the airport.
There is also the Gatwick Express train that arrives and departs right at the airport.
Don’t forget to check whether you are travelling from the North or South Terminals prior to arriving at the airport.
You can check arrival and departure times on teletext, the internet and by calling the airport.
