Cala Llonga is one of the many beach resorts in Ibiza, Spain. It is located just north of Ibiza town (or Eivissa). A few decades ago the resort is only accessible by ferry boat but today bus and car hire at Ibiza- Cala Llonga also provide convenient transport to and around the resort.

Although this is one of the more popular resorts in the island, the bay is large so finding a spot on the slightly sloping beach should not be a problem. The water is shallow for a long distance out to sea. On both sides of the bay are towering cliffs, providing a magnificent view for beach-goers.

Cala Llonga has one of the most complete resort facilities in the Island. The resort features lots of hotels and apartment blocks, amusement parks, and even a playground on the beach. There is also an assortment of shops, british pubs, restaurants, supermarkets, internet cafes and parking spaces.

There are a multitude of activities to choose from around the resort depending on one’s taste. Aside from the usual water sports, trekking and horseback riding are also offered. A campsite is also available for use.

The beach resort is only five minutes away from Santa Eulalia and 15 minutes from Ibiza town. Access the pine tree-lined countryside by car hire at Ibiza- Cala Llonga to these towns. One can also drive to Roca Lisa, five minutes away, where the only golf course in Ibiza is located.
