The weather in Orlando is warm almost all year round, although you may need to take a cardigan or jacket as the evenings can sometimes be cooler.
With its many attractions Orlando has something for everyone including Walt Disney World, MGM Studios, Universal Orlando Resort including Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Sea World.
Most of the parks stay open until very late in to the evening and have firework displays and parades, although the times of these vary depending on the time of the year, so it may be worth checking with the tourist office prior to booking any attraction tickets.
Tickets are so flexible that you can leave the park in the afternoon and go for a rest and a bit of relaxation by the pool prior to returning to the parks in the evening. This is especially good when you have young children as they can then make the most of the entertainment without being too sleepy.
Orlando is a great family holiday destination with all kinds of places to stay which range from hotels, apartments and villas, you can even stay in a Disney Resort Hotel which allows you early entry to the theme parks and Disney Character Breakfasts as well as free shuttles to each park.
If water parks are something you like then why not visit Wet n Wild with its many water slides and rides. You can even spend a whole day here.
International Drive has many restaurants and places to go in the evening for entertainment so why not stay here and take advantage of the shuttle buses and tours to the attractions.
Orlando also has theatres, shopping malls and museums to visit so there is no reason for anyone to run out of things to do here.
You can fly non-stop to Orlando International Airport and Sanford International Airport on almost every day of the week or you could take an in direct flight and stop for a few days in New York or Boston and have a two centre holiday. Either way Orlando is not a destination to miss out on.
